By downloading, installing, or using the App, You agree to be bound by these Terms. If You do not agree with any part of these Terms, You must not use the App.

Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words whose initial letters are capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms of Service:

Application refers to WordCut, the software program provided by the Developer.
Developer (referred to as either "the Developer", "We", "Us" or "Our" in these Terms) refers to Adil Hussain, an independent developer based in Quebec, Canada.
Country refers to: Quebec, Canada
Device means any device that can access the App such as a cell phone or a digital tablet.
Service refers to the Application.
You means the individual accessing or using the App.

Use of the Application

Eligibility

The App has no age restrictions and is intended to be accessible to users of all ages. By using the App, You confirm that You understand and agree to these Terms.

Account Creation

You may use the App without creating an account (Quick Play mode). If You choose to create an account, You may sign in using a third-party authentication provider such as Apple or Google. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of Your account and for all activities that occur under Your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose — playing word puzzles. You agree not to:

Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems or servers
Interfere with or disrupt the App or its infrastructure
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the App
Exploit bugs or glitches to gain unfair advantages on leaderboards

Game Content and Scores

Your game progress, scores, and achievements are stored on Google Firebase. We reserve the right to reset leaderboards or modify scoring systems at any time without prior notice.

Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of the Developer. The App is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App.

No In-App Purchases

The App is entirely free to use. There are no paid features, subscriptions, or microtransactions. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future, in which case these Terms will be updated accordingly.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

Google Firebase — for authentication, data storage, and analytics
Apple Sign-In / Google Sign-In — for account authentication

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The Company does not warrant that:

The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
The results obtained from using the App will be accurate or reliable
Any defects in the App will be corrected

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

Your use or inability to use the App
Any unauthorized access to or alteration of Your data
Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code transmitted through the App
Any interruption or cessation of the Service

Account Deletion

You may delete Your account at any time directly from within the App. Upon deletion, all data associated with Your account will be permanently erased. This action is irreversible.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

You are advised to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes Your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Quebec, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
